We’ve been fortunate to experience many places over the years — often slowly, sometimes unexpectedly, and rarely in a straight line.

Long before we met, travel was already a big part of our lives. Since then, and through the different chapters of life on the move, we’ve explored destinations across multiple continents by van, by boat, and through longer seasonal stays.

From remote stretches of Australia to the jungles of Peru, from Mexico’s coastlines to Argentina’s vineyards, from high-altitude climbs in Bolivia to winter bases in Japan — these places weren’t rushed through. They were lived in, returned to, or experienced long enough to leave a mark.

What connects the destinations we share here isn’t a checklist or a highlights reel, but a preference for places that reward time: off-the-beaten-path towns, landscapes reached slowly, and journeys measured in weeks or months rather than days.
